I just got in a new shipment of jewelry making supplies today! I love opening up a new box of supplies that I practically tackle the poor postman when he comes to my door ;) Check out what I’m so excited to open today…
If you don’t have a ring mandrel, I suggest you get ahold of one. They’re not too expensive, and will be a key tool in your belt if you want to get into creating rings! I always try to order at least one new tool whenever I order more silver wire, sheet, or clay! For some reason it took me awhile to get around to ordering a ring mandrel… but I’m so glad that I finally did it!
I’m so excited…. I’m going to go make some rings now! Yaaa!
Do you currently make rings? We’d love to see them! Please share some pics with us on our facebook page! Your work just may get featured here on MSJ!

Hi Laura,
A few rings that I have been making are listed on my website at http://adiel.tal-zion.org/pages/rings.html
I just love making rings whether they are some of the dynamic ones or the ones that I have cast from waxes that I had engraved for me.
Regards

Hi,Laura,
New to your blog and enjoyed reading your helpful tips on soldering tools. I’ve had my ring mandrel for a while now and wire wrapped rings are very popular in the shops. I actually learned the techniques while sitting in front of the computer watching youtube videos. Searched for “wire wrapped ring tutorials”. There were some very good ones out there.
Looking forward to reading more about soldering fun in the future.

Funny, my newest tool is a ring mandrel. I haven’t used it yet though.
